It’s a proud day to announce Ingredient Solutions will be shortly commencing the construction of a new plant in Boherbue which we hope will be completed by the end of 2025. Ingredient Solutions was set up in 2000 by Ian Galletly and has grown since then to become a highly respected international cheese solutions provider. The majority of products are sold in the Irish and UK markets but there are 40 countries in total worldwide where the company sells to. The company was purchased in 2022 by Rupp, a family owned cheese business in Austria, founded in 1908. They are the largest privately owned dairy company in Austria and have invested in a new factory in Boherbue to take the company to the next level.

Today the company employs 85 people but the future expansion plans will look to grow this considerably and secure current jobs long term. The company’s success has been provided by the great workforce with many employees being here for at least 10 years and some over 20 years. These loyal employees are key for the company’s future and to help integrate the growing workforce over the coming decades. We also appreciate the support of Boherbue Co-Op and local councillor Bernard Moynihan for their support over the years as we wouldn’t be able to do this without them. We also want to thank the people of the Duhallow region for their support over the last 24 years and we look forward to being part of the community for many more years.
